  4. Methods • Summary of your methods • Survey, experiment, etc.? • Sampling method • Quick examples of actual measures • How you carried out the study

  5. Results • An overview/summary of the kinds of data you collected • How many completed measures did you generate? • What were the characteristics of the actual sample you generated? • Gender breakdown? • Age breakdown? • Etc. • Comment on the quality of the sample (size, representativeness)

  6. Results • Present your findings hypothesis by hypothesis • Note the questions compared, etc. • Was the hypothesis supported/was there any significant finding? • If not statitically significant, was there some indication in favor of your expectations? • You may want to provide a bar graph, etc. • On to the next until finished

  7. Discussion • Comment on the quality of the research • Were the measures valid? • Was the sample a good one? • Was the analysis strong? • Evaluate what the findings mean with regard to your original theory • Comment on what should be done in the future

  8. Grading • Clarity of presentation • Logical flow • Presentation simplicity and straightforwardness • Use of visuals, etc. • Quality of presentation • Enthusiasm • Organization • Vocal/visual synchronization
