Results • An overview/summary of the kinds of data you collected • How many completed measures did you generate? • What were the characteristics of the actual sample you generated? • Gender breakdown? • Age breakdown? • Etc. • Comment on the quality of the sample (size, representativeness)
Results • Present your findings hypothesis by hypothesis • Note the questions compared, etc. • Was the hypothesis supported/was there any significant finding? • If not statitically significant, was there some indication in favor of your expectations? • You may want to provide a bar graph, etc. • On to the next until finished
Discussion • Comment on the quality of the research • Were the measures valid? • Was the sample a good one? • Was the analysis strong? • Evaluate what the findings mean with regard to your original theory • Comment on what should be done in the future
