Averages and Evaluating. More on 3.5 and 3.6. Evaluating. Substitute for the given variable Multiply the integers Add or subtract. Ex: Evaluate -n +5n +3 for n=-7 . Ex: Evaluate 4n +3 for n=-2 . Average. Add up all the numbers in the set Divide by the amount of numbers added.

  7. Ex: Find the average-8, -16 -17, 23, -11, -1, 9

  8. Ex: In 4 rounds of gold you received the score of -3,-2, 1, and 0 fin the average
