  2. Narrator: One day Pete was walking home from work when he reached for his cell phone - it wasn’t there! Pete: I have to call Sam, Bailey, and Wendy!

  3. Narrator: So Pete ran home and called his friends and they came over. Sam: What’s the problem?

  4. Pete: Someone stole my cell phone. Narrator: Pete was really worried about his cell phone. Wendy: Hey, what if we call Detective Trio? Bailey: That could work. We could have professionals find your cell phone, Pete!

  5. Narrator: The trio came at 4:45. Lisa: What’s the problem? Pete: Someone stole my cell.

  6. Carol: OK, so now we are going to take alibis. Narrator: Just when she said that, the doorbell rang and Joker, Pete’s friend came in. Joker: Hey heyhey people. Pete, let’s go play bridge.

  7. Pete: I would, but I lost my cell phone, Joker: That’s why I came. I came to cheer you up! Pete: Fine. I’ll get my lucky glove, Narrator: Pete then went upstairs to get his glove.

  8. Narrator: While Pete and Joker were out, the Trio took everyone’s alibis. Stevie: We should interrogate that Joker guy. Bleep!!! Bleep!!! Pete: What’s that? Joker: That’s my pager. Our reservation for the bridge game is in 5 minutes. We have to go. Pete: See ya guys later.

  9. Narrator: Pete and Joker rushed out of the casino. Riinng!! Riinngg! Riinngg!! Pete:What’s that noise? It sorta sounds like my ringtone. Joker:Nope! No noise here!

  10. Pete: Do you know anything about my cell phone? Joker: Yes I took it! But I have a reason. You knew Jeremiah was going to give me the promotion and you took it. So I got even. Pete: I’m sorry. But next time I get something that you want tell me. O.K? Joker: OK. Narrator: Pete and Joker went home and explained everything to everybody.
