Oh no, what have I done. Mum will be coming up the drive in two minutes. I am dead meat. I don’t know how to get out of this one. How did I get into this mess, what did I do?
“Catch Jamie catch.”We were playing cricket in the pouring rain until little Billy slipped and knocked his two front teeth out. He was in so much pain he had to go home. Nobody else wanted that to happen to them so we had to play inside. This was my house so I wasn’t sure about it but I gave in. We started playing cricket indoors! Now Mom had told me off one million times for playing cricket indoors but you know I’m way to smart for my Mum.
I tried to move it so many times but I didn’t get any time to.” Mum will be home in five minutes so maybe we should only do a couple more balls, okay ?”. The guys seemed happy with that. Jimmy did the most amazing shot winning us three runs. Now it was the last ball and it was my turn to bat. I remember thinking I hope nothing goes wrong. We were going well I have to admit because we had at least twenty near misses towards Mums brand new Bohemian Rhapsody vase.
“ Go , hit it for six!”, shouted Jimmy. “ I will do my best,” I said. Todd bowled as fast as he could. I struck.I was so worried it would all go wrong. Bang! Crash! Shatter! What have I done. “Everybody get out of the house now”, I screamed.” “But..” ”Shut up Jimmy, it’s important,” I said. I ran up to my room in fear and I scrambled under my bed.
I was a bundle of nerves. “ Jamie, I’m home! “ It was Mum. At least she hasn’t found out about the vase. “ “Arrrhhh, which imbecile has broken my vase?” God, she saw it. Well at least she hasn’t called me a scumbag yet. “That little scumbag of a boy. He was playing cricket wasn’t he.”At least she hasn’t found me. Boom! Suddenly the door came crashing down. She found me. “I have told you off one million times for playing cricket in the hall and still you disobey me. That’s it, you are grounded for two weeks. Also no X-box for one month.” ”Bummer!” I screamed.
