  2. What is Etiquette? • Etiquette: • 1. Required social behavior; accepted ways to behave in any class or community or for any occasion. • 2. A planned or accepted code of usage in matters of ceremony, in official or other formal observances.

  3. The United States Flag should never be flown higher than flags of other nations.

  4. True!When the flag is flown with other countries each flag must be on a separate pole of the same height. Each flag should be the same size, and they should be raised and lowered together. The flag of one nation may not be above another nation.

  5. The flag should not be flown higher than those of U.S. states.

  6. False!In a group of state, local and/or society flags, the American Flag should be flown highest and in the center.

  7. The flag should be in the rear(back) of a procession(parade) and centered.

  8. False!If the American Flag is carried in a procession with other flags, it should be in the front to its own right or, in the center of a line of flags.
