  3. HHTA Philosophy • Technique, Technique, Technique (4 Years Minimum for Proficiency) • Race Strategy • Strength and Endurance • Swim all the races, complete swimmer • Drills, Exercises, Sets directly correlate to swimming movements (Senior). All drills correlate to basics (Junior).

  5. Groups & Practice Times • Groups will be divided into Senior Elite, Senior, Junior Plus, Junior, and Novice. Coaches discretion. • Senior Elite Group- Monday-Friday, 6:30-8:30 • Senior Group- M/W/F, 6:30-8:30 • Junior Plus and Junior Group- M/W/F 6:00-7:00 • Novice Group- Tuesday & Thursday, 6:00-6:45 • FRIDAYS ARE ALWAYS 6-7:15PM. Open Swim • Please enter by weight room, not ramp

  6. Fees • Everyone MUST be registered with USA Swimming. $60/year. • Junior/Junior Plus Swimmers- $195 • Senior Elite Swimmers- $400 • Senior Swimmers- $280 • Novice Swimmers- $100 • HS Sports- $250 • Checks to Horseheads Thrashers, not HHTA! • Discount: 10% for 2 kids, 20% for 3 kids, etc.

  7. League Meets are NO cost*. Dates, Times, and events will be on the website Champs* is MANDATORY. Must have 2 League meets Non-Leauge Meets- many have qualifying times Meet fees for these meets. Meets

Meet Schedule (Online) • League Meets (Free) November 16 @ EFA December 7 @ Horseheads January 4 @ Watkins Glen February 1 @ Ithaca February 8 @ Horseheads March 1 @ Mansfield or Ithaca *CHAMPS*: March 8 @ Watkins ($15 Fee for this meet) • NON-League Jan 11-12 Regional Qualifier @ Owego Feb 14-17 Regionals @ Union College Feb 21-23 Silver Meet @ Maine-Endwell March 13-16 Gold Meet @ Webster April 16-19 NASA Nationals @ Clearwater, FLA

  9. MEET SIGNUPS • WEBSITE. • For Saturday Meets, deadline is Wed prior. Courtesy to host team. • If you say yes, you NEED to go. Relays. • It is assumed that everyone will be signed up for Champs.

  10. Suits can be ordered online through our website. Due date for team discount and free shipping is October 30 Caps can be purchased in the office. (MEETS*) Temporary Tattoos $1 (Team rule at meets*) Thrasher merchandise can be purchased at Unique Solutions. 739-8122 Suits and Stuff

  12. Miscellaneous • Drop off/Pick up kids and PARK in the Quad, by the weight room door • Report Cards- Bring them in • DO NOT PROP ANY DOORS OPEN! • Injuries can be checked at Elite Therapy next to Friendly’s. Background in swimming • Deck Pass on USASwimming.org!

  13. Payment Schedule • $60 immediately.** Non-refundable. Goes to USA Swimming Insurance. • Full payment up front is fine • Monthly Payments are due the first of each month. • Meet Fees are Due BEFORE the Meet
