Trichotillomania • Hetrogenous group of disorders!! • Types: focused and automatic • Assessment and how to measure hair loss (clinical, objective and hair count methods) • Different views: • Habit if started in children (nail biting, finger licking) • Psychiatric background if strated later • Obssessive compulsive disorder • Depression, pschizophrenia, borderline personality….
