Theme: • Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints who are in Ephesus, & faithful in Christ Jesus: 2 Grace to you & peace from God our Father & the Lord Jesus Christ. 3 Blessed be the God & Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritualblessing in the heavenlyplaces in Christ

  3. Source Of Our Blessings • “The God & Father Of Our Lord Jesus Christ” • Spiritual riches to His children: Grace (Eph 1:7; 2:7); Glory of heaven (1:18; 3:16); Mercy (2:4); Gospel of Christ (3:8) • Material riches to all men (Psa 104:24; Psa 36:7-9)

  4. Scope Of Our Blessings • “Every Spiritual Blessing” • Israel given material gifts (Deut 28:1-13) • Christians given spiritual gifts: redemp-tion, forgiveness, grace, mercy… • Everything needed to serve in the kingdom (Phil 4:19; Luke 12:31; 2 Cor 9:8)

Realm Of Our Blessings • “In The HeavenlyPlaces In Christ” – • Sinners desire this earthly region (Phil 3:18-19; Luke 16:8) • Christians desire the heavenly region (Phil 3:20; Luke 10:20; Col 3:1-4) • Jesus is there (Eph 1:2) – We are sitting with Him (2:6) – Fighting a war against sin together (6:12)
