HVF Overview Mission Be the premier organization for the advancement of Haas MBA students and alumni in the Venture Capital industry Strategy Provide a hands-on learning opportunity for current students and a vehicle for continued involvement for alumni Tactics • Learn from seasoned venture capitalists on project work • Run the UC Berkeley Pitch Lab and Incubator • Connect UC Berkeley with the VC community • Serve as the nucleus for VC alumni outreach

  3. HVFs: Past, Present, Future Five fellows join the HVF community from each class. We are looking for the five 2012 HVFs! Pitch Lab and Incubator (BEL) Pitch Lab • Where entrepreneurs pitch their business idea and receive feedback in a friendly environment BEL • Select and manage startups in UC Berkeley’s incubator space Successes • Winners of 2006-2009 Business Plan Competition • Many B-Plan and entrepreneurship class participants • Intel + Berkeley Technology Entrepreneurship Challenge
