  1. A guide to Ute hire, rental advice and tips on the Gold Coast http://www.goldcoastutehire.com.au

  2. When you find the need to hire a Ute on the Gold Coast you would be well advised to check the internet for all the different places that offer Ute hire on the Gold Coast. This will only take a few minutes, but once completed you will know just what is available. Then you can take a good look at their sites and see what each company is offering and the advantages as well as disadvantages of each. Before you make any rental agreement there are some things that need to be considered:

  3. The Load • Take a look at the job you will need the Ute for, and try and estimate the size of the load so you know what sized Ute you will need, maybe you can fit it all in with one load or maybe you will need to make several trips. • Think about the type of load is it clean or dirty? • Will you be moving aggravate or garden waste, clean sand or topsoil? • Maybe you will be moving some heavy equipment or your home contents?

  4. Timing • It helps to know how long your moving job will take, can you do it in half a day or will it take a lot longer. • The hire rates can vary considerably depending on when you want the Ute, if it’s for the day, weekend or a whole week. • If you run out of time it can cost a lot when you return the Ute a few hours late, even if you have a good excuse.

  5. Distance • Try and get a good idea of the distance you have to travel with your load, picking up the Ute, doing the job and the return trip to the depot. • If your Ute hire on the Gold Coast is just local then you can probably get away with miles included hire. But if you have a long way to go then ask for unlimited miles as if you go over the allowed distance they will charge per kilometer and that can quickly become expensive.

  6. Services and Extras • Find out what services and extras are included and which ones you will have to pay extra for. • Do you need a roof rack for long loads? • Will you require a hydraulic ramp for lifting, loading and unloading? • Maybe a tip tray is going to be the best option for you? • Find out about the insurance and see if your credit card or personal insurance will cover you.
