  8. Paraphrasing is putting a section from the original material into your own words.

  9. You must cite the original material here also.

  10. Paraphrased material is usually shorter than the original passage. It takes an overview of the whole topic.

  11. Could you paraphrase the whole Harry Potter series?

  13. You could paraphrase one scene, though. Practice paraphrasing the scene where Harry buys his first wand.
