  3. Ocean Level: Natural State and Rates of Change • At the Last Glacial Maximum (20Ka), Sea Level was 125m lower than today • Average sea level rise since LGM: 3mm/year • In previous interglacial periods, sea level was 3-20m higher than at present time • depositional facies and wave cut terraces
