About the Company • WMT&R established the UK subsidiary in Banbury, Oxfordshire in April 2003 as part of its global expansion programme that continues today. Twelve years later the Nadcap approved UK labs are housed in a state-of-the-art 46,000 sq ft facility opened in January 2015. • Aerospace represents the major part of WMT&R’s customer base. • We are proud to be of service globally to prime customers in this • sector such as Airbus, Boeing, General Electric, Meggitt, Rolls Royce. • We recognise that major European based & Asian engineering companies • such as Mettis Aerospace, Baimtec, Constellium, are continuing to • develop collaborative relationships between Airbus, Boeing, GE, RR • and others. • WMT&R is seeking to establish mutually beneficial links with • key European & Asian companies, and to offer valuable commonality, • continuity and competitiveness for outsourced material testing • requirements for these worldwide industrial partnerships.

The facility is recognised for speciality testing services to automotive, aerospace, medical and power generation sectors. Machining Centre Equipment • State-of-the-art HAAS machining centres, lathes, ST10, SL10, SL20 and Mills, VF3 and VF5 models • In-house test piece manufacture via CNC • Large saws for bulk product ‘cut-up’ (Kasto saws) • Large sheet guillotine - 3 metre width • Manual lathes & mills for bulk metal cutting • Cylindrical low stress grinding & polishing • EDM capability & subcontractor support for specialist processes • Manned by skilled and experienced staff! We can also machine test pieces for customers & produce jigs/tooling!
