  2. Your results are only as good as your Search Keyword seems quick, but it will bring you more results than you can use

  3. Your results are only as good as your search Searching for the book “Twilight” as a keyword in LAPL brings back 1359 results, and the book is not on the first page At Gertz, we have fewer items, so you only have to go through 7 but it still did not come up first

  4. “Title Begins with” and “Author” are your friends At Gertz, Title (exact match) searches for your word in the title, no the whole record, so you get fewer results

  5. Title search in LAPL…. Still gives you 809 results.

  6. So, if you know anything for sure about what you are looking for use it! Doing an advanced search… Gets you this
