Example Survey Questions • How do you encounter dugongs? • How frequently have you seen dugongs? • Do people in your community hunt dugongs? • Are there more, less or the same number of dugongs caught today compared to the past? • How many dugongs were caught last year? • What would you do if you caught a dugong? • Have you found stranded or dead dugongs at sea?

  3. Key Questions • What data do you think is important to analyse in a simple manner for presentation to policy-makers? • What analysis level is sufficient for a basic understanding? • How can this best be presented?
