  2. 作業系統的功能 • 監控整個程式的執行過程 • 安排各程式處理的次序 • 調配程式使用各種電腦資源 • 提供使用者簡易的操作環境 • 具備識別密碼保護措施確保資料的安全 • 作業系統最主要的目的為「便利」與「效能」。「便利」所指的是提供使用者一個便利的操作介面，人與電腦硬體之間溝通的管道，適當且有效率地管理及運用各項系統資源，以提高整個電腦系統的效能。 • 介於使用者與電腦之間溝通管道，主要協調中央處理器CPU與周邊資源的使用問題。

  6. 結論 • Windows作業系統從沒有GUI(圖形使用者界面)MS-DOS到現在的Windows 7&8,功能越改越強大，速度越來越快，操作越來越人性化，環境越來越方便，電腦會因更強大的作業系統而加萬能，觸碰的技術已經慢慢成熟，已經不難想像聲控眼動甚至用想的來操作電腦(腦波之類)的這些在3.40年前的天方夜譚說不定就會普及於大眾的電腦上，之後會怎麼發展呢!?就讓我們拭目以待!!
