  2. What is Unit rate you ask? • Unit Rate is a ratio of two units. It expresses how many units of a type quantity corresponds to one unit of another type of quantity.

  3. Why Pringles? • I chose to do Pringle’s because I had some cute ideas. I am doing three different sizes of Pringle’s, just a can of Pringle’s (tall one), 18 pack of mini’s, and a 12 pack of mini’s. I got the prices and information on walmart.com.

  4. 1 Pack. • A one pack on walmart.com is $1.50 and 6.38oz.

  5. Math for the 1 pack! First you divide the price into the oz. (because of it is only one.) 1.50 6.38=.24 cents per oz.

  6. 12 pack This is the 12 pack on walmart.com that costs $3.98 at 8.88oz.

  7. Math for the 12 pack! To figure out the price per mini pack you have to divide 3.98 12= 48 cents a mini pack. Now for the price per ounce per pack. .48 8.88=0.054 cents per oz per mini pack.

  8. 18 pack This is the 18 pack on walmart.com for $5.78 for 13.3oz.

  9. Math for the 18 pack To figure out the price per mini pack you have to… Divide…… 5.78 18=.32cents per mini pack. Now to figure out the price per ounce per mini pack…. .43 13.3=.032 cents per ounce per mini pack.

  10. The cheapest per ounce per pack would be the 18 pack. ConClusion
