2. “Hood” This character shows a social group which now commonly features in action and thriller films, teenagers. The emphasis on him being a “hood” or gangster. We have represented this genre by casting a teenage actor and dressing in a outfit stereotypically associated with that character or group. We chose this because we wanted to the audience to go with their preconceived images of teenagers then after seeing the film hopefully change their attitude /view to the group entirely. This compared differently to the other character because he is involved in this without his consent whereas the other character enjoys and revels in the violence and has got into the situation because he choose to.

3. Adam Deacon “Shank” The character I am comparing with is Kickz played by Adam Deacon. From the film Shank. He is a member of a gang who wields a bat and likes to use it to hurt people. He is part of a big group and the film centres around violence I see him as similar to our main character He is sometime forced into situations he doesn't want to be in. Like our character he is hard and not afraid to get violent. He portrays a typically stereotypical view of the teenage class e.g.. Chavvily dressed and violent. He conforms to this stereotype in the film however this is not what we wanted to emanate from our film. Our film admittedly contains less violence but keeps some issues underlying such as family and the threat of wider society.
