Initial Planning Meeting • Held July 28 – 29, 2011 in Albany, NY • Huron Education Consulting Group • RF Central Office Functional and Technical Teams • RF Project Co-owners and Project Manager • Implementation kick-off meeting needed to: • Discuss the project plan and determine roles and responsibilities • Discuss project governance • Identify options and business rules that need to be discussed • Talk to the technical team about needed hardware, environments, minimum requirements for implementation • Discuss RF-SUNY Stakeholder Groups 4
High Level Project Plan • Master plan for the RF as a whole • Communication plan/involvement of stakeholders • Training plan and strategies • Key upcoming milestones • September 2011: On site Implementation Meeting in Albany • November 2011: System environment set up completed • January 2012: Configure, review and clean up data • Campus specific plans • General plan that can be followed and modified to fit your campus will be provided 5
Monthly Project Newsletter • DRAFT July 2011 Newsletter posted with meeting materials • One of our communications tools • Will be posted on Operational Excellence in Effort Reporting web page (that we are redesigning) • Share with your campuses and colleagues • Campus core team – provide comments/feedback on the July 2011 Newsletter so that it can be finalized 6
PI E-mail Addresses • ecrt is highly dependent on e-mail addresses • PI e-mail addresses needed for effort certification • Central office staff are working on gathering PI e-mail addresses • Running queries to identify current funded PIs • Collecting needed e-mail addresses • Establishing process to collect e-mail addresses for future PIs • Work will be done at Central Office to minimize impact on campus staff • Central office will work with campuses to identify others who might have a role in the certification process 7
