Clearing of Antigens • Engulfed antigens are brought to the lymph nodes to be destroyed by T cells • They are either processed and presented to the T cells • Or they are brought to the lymph nodes via the lymph vessel to be processed and destroyed by the T cells • Some antigens may escape the lymph nodes and enter the blood. They will be carried into the spleen to be destroyed.
