Source B describes the Beveridge Report of 1942. Source B The Beveridge Report was important. It simplfied existing insurance benefits and made the system of paying fairer. It had revolutionary ideas. It suggested that society could fight the five giants of poverty. It also said that people should be free from certain things like want and disease.
