What Happened? • $2.4 million fraud against DISD, the proceeds of which paid for: • a 49-foot sport-fishing yacht, • credit card payments, • trips to Key West • tens of thousands of dollars in bribes made via wire transfers, checks and "envelopes filled with cash," the indictment alleges.
