Societal Problem • People are not informed fast enough about the spread of infectious diseases • They may not know there’s new disease out there • They may not know if they are in a highly infective area.
What is infectious diseases? • Diseases that can be spread directly or indirectly from one person to another. • Two common types • Commonly infectious diseases such as cold, flu, etc • Disease outbreak such as SARS, Swine Flu
