Archetypes • Archetypes are able to overlap each other. • Nearly impossible to use only one at a time. • Archetypes= People Inside Your Head • YOU HAVE A SMALL COMMUNITY IN YOUR BRAIN. • (Yes, you can hear voices inside your head)
Generic Archetypes • Power Selves • Protector, Warrior, Aristocrat, Boss, Judge, Liar, Partier, Victim, Leader, Controller • Assumed Identities that we use in certain situations. • Think back to when you needed to be powerful, this was a main archetype used.
Generic Archetypes • Vulnerable and Child Selves • Vulnerable, magical, silly/playful, lonely, insecure, lover, abandoned, hopeless, sad, victim, shy, rebellious, spontaneous • Many identities that children take on unknowingly.
Generic Archetypes • Parent Selves • Good, negative, critical, controlling, withdrawn, responsible. • Many identities that parents take on with their children. • These identities effect the lives of their children, depending on which role the parent takes on will determine the outcome of the child.
