iPads in the Common Core Classroom Technology is integrated throughout the Common Core standards, even at the elementary level. Example: K.W.6- With guidance and support from adults, explore a variety of digital tools to produce and publish writing.
iPad Management -Establish Expectations -Rules for using the iPad -Teach iPad techniques -model, Model, MODEL sharing
1. Is it user friendly? Is it easy to use for all ages?2. Is it engaging? Does it meet the interests of all learners?3. Does it cover different ability levels and difficulty levels?4. Does it cover a range of grade levels and content areas in Common Core?5. Is it stable, updated periodically and integrate text and culturally relevant images?6. How much is it worth? If not free, is it worth it? *The best evaluators are the students. They can let you know if it is interesting, user friendly and relevant.

QR Codes Quick QR Code Ideas: *Create a QR code for a website, you want all your students to visit. *Add a QR codes to front cover of book or throughout so students can learn more by watching a video, playing a game, exploring a related website or a video book review from a peer. *Add QR codes around your classroom or building and have students go on a QR code Scavenger Hunt on any subject. *Place a QR code on your newsletter, homework sheet or outside your door for parents to go directly to your websites or additional information. *Add a QR code to worksheets that includes video tutorials for that subject.
