  2. Outline • Completed assignments and tasks • Major problems and obstacles • Assignments to be completed

Completed assignments • Met with Operation Clean Sweep members to discuss what we will be working on throughout the course of this semester. • Kayleen and Kathy also attended a different Operation Clean Sweep Committee meeting. • We Met with the principal of Congdon Elementary School to discuss what classes we will be working on and what dates will work best for the school to let us come in. • We had to complete a CORI so we can be cleared to work with the students. • We Completed the Team Charter which included the mission statement, roles and responsibilities, etc. • We created our group logo. • We created a Jeopardy game to play with the students to measure the impact we had on them. • We have also developed a lesson plan for the two days that we will be working with the students. • We met with Net Impact and discussed how they can help us by either coming to the parade or clean up.

Obstacles Encountered • Difficulty choosing school to work with in Clean Sweep meeting. • Delays in getting email responses. • Float idea was not supported at Clean Sweep committee meeting and they suggested we come up with a new idea. • Congdon Elementary school will be doing their MCAS during the month of March. We are still waiting for an email regarding the schedule of when we would be able to go to the school. • CORI takes about two weeks to clear. Which prevents us from doing the lessons till after spring break.

  7. Float Creation • Continue to brainstorm ideas • Agree on an idea for our float • Create a list of tasks in order to complete float • Gather necessary materials • Begin working on the float

  8. Community Partner Assistance • Obtain materials for clean up • Obtain stickers for activities with children • Promotion of New Bedford Clean Up on April 20th

  9. PPF Project Criteria Performance Impact • Community involvement • Measure how many people and companies were involved in project • Earth day awareness, education, and behavior • Pre-test for 5th grade students • Poster
