  3. Real Number Line In math, we can use both vertical and horizontal number lines. A real life example of a vertical number line is the thermometer.Show how integers can be graphed on both types of number lines by graphing –2, 0, and 3

  4. Can you compare numbers using two different ways? Graph –4 and –5 on the number line. Now write the comparisons using < and >

  5. Ordering Real Numbers What if the numbers they give are not the same kind? Example: Write –2, 0.4, 0, -1.5, ½, and in decreasing order Now try again with these numbers: 4.6, 0.7, 85%, -1/3, -0.35, 0

  6. Real Numbers in Real Life Draw the number line to determine the lowest temperature in Nome Alaska!

  7. Individual Practice Do problems 1-13 on page 68. How did you do? 7 or more correct? CRCT will be a breeze! 8 or more correct? I pass the daily work!
