  3. Things that stress us out:School/Work • Daily Operations of School and Work • TESTS!!!

  4. Things that stress us out:Transportation • Driving • My Kids Driving • Flying

  5. Things that stress us out:Finances • Our Monthly Expenses • Debt • Not being able to support myself

  6. Things that stress us out:Society • Public Speaking • People in General • Bad People • Socializing (I’m a teenager!) • Being Alone (Forever) • Not Being in Control

  7. Things that stress us out:Nature • Snakes • Mean Dogs • Spiders • Roaches • Locusts

  8. Things that stress us out:Health • General Health Concerns • Needles

  9. Things that stress us out:Miscellaneous • Firing Guns • Heights • Clowns • The Dark • Monsters

  10. Understanding His Power and Wisdom teaches us… • …why we are here in the first place. His might created all that we see. If He is the one who created us, why wouldn’t we go to Him in times of trouble – Job 9:4-12, Jer. 10:12 • …nothing is too hard for the Lord. – Jer. 32:27, Matt. 19:26, Phil. 4:13 • …he is in control of our situation. – Matt. 8:23-27

Fearing God… • ...keeps us wise in hard times. – Prov. 1:7 • …gives us strength through His wisdom. – Prov. 8:13-14 • …gives us a good perspective when dealing with difficult people/times. – Matt. 10:28 • …keeps us from coming up short of the ultimate prize. – Heb. 4:1 • …saves us from future harm. – Heb. 11:7

  12. Trusting God… • …saves us from future harm. -- Noah and Abraham • …gives us courage to do the things we need to do. -- 1 Chron. 28:20 • …puts us on the right path. – Prov. 3: 5-8 • …keeps us from being foolish. – Prov. 28: 25-26 • …will deliver you from death. – 2 Cor. 1:9-10
