Directions for L J Interpretation Activity • Review normal L J charts and Westgard Rules • Divide the participants into small groups and ask each group to prepare a 1-month L J chart showing one of the following: • Normal QC • A Trend (up or down) • A Bias (positive or negative) • A Random or Systemic Error • Number and tape each L J chart on the wall. • Use the ‘answer sheet’ on the next slide to allow each participant to interpret the type of error(s) on each L J chart! • Discuss as a group the correct interpretations • Encourage questions and discussion
