  40. Recycling at HMU Wood Waste After being directed to the Wood Processing Area… The wood waste is processed by the high speed grinder.

  41. Landfill Design Recycled Tire and Wood Products are used in cell construction The same slow speed grinder that is used for waste can be used to grind whole tires, separating the radials. This is the initial stage of processing to make a whole tire into a recycled construction material that can be used as a drainage layer in landfill and other construction applications.
