Sample 1 Fine-grained, clastic sedimentary rock that is red in color with a sandy feel.
Sample 2 Fine-grained, bioclastic sedimentary rock that fizzes withHCl. This rock contains cemented shell fragments.
Sample 3 Fine-grained, bioclastic sedimentary rock that contains the microscopic remains of plants and animals.
