Assignment Artifacts Next Beth Fields, Title 1 Reading Teacher Conceptual Framework Module 1-4 I have taught for 20 years at Del Norte Elementary School in Roswell, New Mexico, the first 13 years in fourth grade and the last 7 years in Title 1 reading. Next to my love of working with kids, I enjoy an ongoing desire to integrate technology into our school’s curriculum. I have served as the technology resource person in our building for the past seven to eight years. When the opportunity to enroll in the Lesley program presented itself, I jumped at the chance to immerse myself in learning about technology in education. I have learned so much and am thrilled to be able to share this knowledge with both my students and peers. From this class, ECOMP 6102, I have seen assessment from a different perspective. Implementing these practices as well as sharing them with my peers presents a new and exciting challenge to which I look forward. Now, when I work with assessment, whether in developing, evaluating, or modifying, I will have solid reference as to the validity and reliability of the tool. I understand more clearly and agree with Richard Stiggins approach to assessment and hope to become more proficient in applying these techniques.
