Proposal on how to move forward: • Blueprint for Grid Capabilities and Application Interfaces: • Structure to align with and extend work in section 5 and 6 of Architecture Blueprint especially with respect to Blueprint Scope 3) and 4) • Group to include ITR proponents, GTA, GTD, .. • ITR proponents prepared to organize and edit the initial work. • Maintain good communication and coordination with Architects Forum (discussions, review, meetings..). • Computing Model, Work loads, Data Flows: • Define these initially for the scope of the ITR to identify missing/overlapping capabilities with existing and proposed projects. • Work with Include ITR proponents, GTA, GTD, Architects… Work with LCG PI project in GRID areas (from Vincenzo’s talk): • Interface to LCG middleware • Opportunistic computing vs deamon/client-server • Condor vs Proof • Web-services • Distributed MetaData and catalogs • Distributed RDBMS • Grid Replication services • End-user software “distribution” • End-user data management • We are looking for comments and guidance, • and help in the proper process to enable this proposal.
