Changes to SP #29 • Will be part of the 12 Safe Practices publicly reported by LFG • Current NQF safe practices specifications do not apply • Changes can be applied to 2008 Survey if proposed to LFG before end of Dec ’07 • NQF Safe Practice review in ’08 will address pediatric specifications
Changes to other Safe Practices • Changes to the other 15 Safe Practices for ’08 TMIT voluntary report • Changes can be applied to 2008 TMIT Survey if before January ’08 • Potential Targets • SP #26, Periop MI Prevention • SP #27, Pressure Ulcer • SP #28 DVT/VTE Prevention • Others?
