VEX STORAGE SOLUTIONS. I got these (item number 93928-0VGA) from Harbor Freight for 7.99each. They fit all the small parts and sensors for the original VEX kit. The case actually fits inside the VEX box. Bins are removable. ( Thanks to Dana Clay for the info on this page).

You can purchase these at most hardware stores. You will need multiple boxes to sort the pieces in your kits. Buy the deeper trays not the thin one.
I really liked the storage system on the right when coupled with the students having their own trays. This allowed the best organization for me of small parts. Disadvantage – kids don’t always put parts back in the correct bins. These types of solutions can be found through several suppliers, including Globalindustrial.com
I had a lot of success with this type of organization for both VEX and LEGO. The biggest advantage compared to the compartments on the right is kids don’t have to open drawers. They can just drop parts in.
Advantages of this solution are that you can both store a lot of stuff but also can lock things up quickly. I would suggest that you purchase two of these. Disadvantage – after the doors get loaded up they tend to be fairly heavy and don’t stay open. Be sure to purchase casters and place the whole unit on ¾ plywood with casters to make it easy to move.
