Coffee House10-12th graders gather as a co-ed group and have a confidential, in-depth discussion on how alcohol and drugs affect their lives with free coffee drinks in a mature environment. Education Center Continued…More #’s • 96% of students who received assistance thought it was useful and afterwards they understood the material better • 238 youth visits during our highest month 2010 highest month: 64 • 126 students served 2010 students: 51 2 of which were 6th graders
Stories • Served over 40 Burmese students this school year! • Privileged to have Burmese translator James Shwe help three days a week during HHS second semester • First semester professional volunteers: • Retired English teacher • Retired Math teacher • 2 Science teachers from HHS • Retired principal
