  2. I Was Born • I was born in San Antonio, Texas. • I was born on June 5, 1964.

  3. Male/Female? • I am a male.

  4. Education • I went to Alamo Heights High school in San Antonio. (I also got in trouble for writing a newspaper that made fun of the school!)

  5. Married/Kids? • I have a wife. • I have two sons. Their names are Haley and Patrick. (I got the idea for one of my bestsellers from Haley!)

  6. Parents • My parents were both teachers. • My mom was a musician and an artist. • My dad was a ceramicist (he made stuff out of clay).

  7. Previous Job(s)? • Before I decided to become a full-time writer, I was a middle school teacher. I might go back to it!

  8. Initials? • My initials are R.R.

  9. I Am . . . • I am Rick Riordan!
