The health science career cluster includes planning, managing, and providing diagnostic, therapeutic, educational, communication, and research services in health care. Work Environment I have a great work environment. I have nurses and nurses aides that help me with my job. My office is very busy and sometimes stressful on holidays. Work Hours I and many other doctors work long hours(at all times of day and night). Doctors who work in small offices often have more time off. We have to rush to the hospital whenever there is an emergency. Educational Requirements It usually takes at least 11 years to become a doctor: 4 years of college, 4 years of medical school, and 3 years of working in a hospital. For some special doctor, they may have to work in a hospital for up to 8 years before they are fully trained. Some of these areas do not have enough doctors.
