JOB SEARCHING STRATEGIES FOR MILITARY SPOUSES 2013 Dates: Oct 23, Nov 6, 20, Dec 4, 18 *only need to attend 1 session Time: 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Location: Strom Thurmond Bldg., Room 222 (*2nd floor) TOPICS • Employment, education and volunteer resources • On/Off post job opportunities, federal employment • Attendee will receive an employment resource starter kit • Military Spouse Employment Partnerships (MSEP) • Military Spouse Scholarship Info • SC Department of Employment and Workforce • Resume development and interviewing techniques • Job searching techniques, social media Eligible military spouse attendees will be eligible to enroll in the ERP to receive one-on-one employment assistance, receive daily e-mail job postings and have resume sent to prospective employers!! Classes are open to all active duty and their Family members, retirees, surviving spouses, and civilian DoD employee identification card holders. Must register to attend, call ACS 751-4862/5256.
