My name is Jie-Hung Lin and you can call me Pineapple, my nickname. I’m a seventeen-year-old boy studying in Yilan Senior High. I do a lot of studying every weekday for the big exam I have to pass for college. I’m in a single parent family and there are three people in my family. My father and my sister are very kind to me. I like reading novels, making friends with other people and going out with my friends to have fun in my free time. I enjoy reading novels because it can give me much imagination. I love to make friends with foreigners because I can learn different culture by contacting with foreign friends. I’m very interested in learning life style different from mine. I am 6 feet 23 inches tall. I do a lot of studying everyday. But I do love to play basketball in my free time. My favorite basketball team is Lakers. I know and understand each and every team member.   8. Self-Introduction 佳作(6) Dear all, My name is Willie, I am 17 years old, and I studied at Yilan Senior High school in Taiwan. I have some experience speaking English and if you want to practice your Chinese, then I can help you with that, because my first language is Chinese. I think we can practice Chinese and English through some interesting topics, such as sports, our life, school, works, and the experience about traveling and so on. I was an exchange student from 2009 to 2010; I went to the U.S. for a year. I learn everything fast, because I lived there, contact with the people continuously. Obviously, you cannot get to here and I won't be able to visit your country, even though, if the way we learn foreign culture and language is close to our life, we will learn it happily and efficiently. Maybe you can see street dancer all around your country, but the street dancer in Taiwan can be very different. The reason why I like poppin’ is because poppin’ looks like singing with your hand, feet and body. You can enjoy and groove with the music. I really want to groove as long as I can move. I also like many singers, for example, Tom Jones, Janet Jackson, and the king of pop music, Michael Jackson. I really groove on their songs.I really want to make friends with you. I like to play the electric guitar and basketball in my free time. I also enjoy listening to music because it can let me relax from pressure of the test. In my free time, I always play baseketball with my friends.I live in I-Lan at the eastern part of Taiwan. The weather here is always rainy. I take the bus to school and some of my classmates do.
