  4. KEY FINDINGS • Vast Majority (84%) Live in Adequate Housing • Stock Mismatch – Supply / Preferences • Neighbourhood Facilities / Quality • 1,155 Concealed Households forming each year • 27% Households with a Special Need

STOCK QUALITY • 84.3% Live in Housing Inadequate for their needs • 5,800 too small • 10,700 need repairs / improvements • 58,500 Need Repairs / Improvements • 51% Window Repairs; 36% Additional Security; 28% Insulation ENERGY FACILITIES • 96% Have Central Heating (90% Full) • 62% Have Double-Glazing (50% Full) • 55% Have Loft Insulation

  6. CONCEALED HOUSEHOLDS • 1,155 Households forming each year • 74% Are Children of Existing Households • 12% - Lodgers • 27% will form a two person household • 9.7% Contain Children (370) • 71% Are aged 20 - 29; 12% are over the age of 30 • 12% Are on a Waiting List (21% Year 1)
