  2. Objective • To determine how the ph of a soft drink affects taste

  3. Backround • I noticed when I drank a cola that my eyes would water and the taste was harsh. So I decided to do this project to test why this occurs, and if it occurs with other people.

  4. Hypothesis • If the pH of the soft drinks is 4 or less, then the participant will not prefer the taste

  5. Procedure • Test the pH of each soft drink used • Prepare soft drinks • Have participants drink each sample • Record their tastes using survey
