Arthropods Vocabulary • Pedipalps (palps) – second pair of appendages of arachnids (spiders) that are near the mouth used as sensory such as smell/taste and grab prey.
Arthropods Vocabulary • Book lungs – a type of respiratory organ in spiders and scorpions; they are deep pockets on the lots of folds that are moist; blood passing through them picks up oxygen from the surrounding air.
