Attachment 1.OPPORTUNITIES • Currently Bangladesh is exporting about $ 32 Billion textile merchandise, but It will cross the value $ 50 Billion if the growth is 15% by 2021. Bangladesh being a KEY production hub with best of the dedicated / work oriented / experienced hands on machine technician availability , will always remain a center point for catering to worlds garments requirements . • To Achieve above Target of USD $ 50 BILLION Govt. of Bangladesh has taken concrete steps & speed up building national infrastructure like Roads, Ports, Bridges, Finding out new Gas and Oil fields to increase the power infrastructure, all to assist increasing production capacities within the country. • Increased cost of production in Textile sector across Leading Asian textile production centers , attributing to their internal GDP structures / geo political issues ( INDIA / PAKISTAN / CHINA ) has pushed foreign & local Investors setting up new Production lines / mills in Bangladesh , there by adding to increased production capacities , Some of them are also setting up green factories that will Increase the countries image in apparel sector. • CHINA has always played a key roll & had edge over local mills vis-a-vis FABRIC PRICE point , but now with stringent environmental compliance / laws been enforced , close to 1700 mills ( unorganized sector ) have been shut down , this did impacted the fabric supply in flow to Bangladesh. Also pushed up Chinese fabric prices by almost 7% - 10% , hence paving way for local suppliers to capitalize on this opportunity . • SPEED is the key – to attract the customers brands are now focusing on new product lines / Different styles and ensure faster replenishment of merchandise at stores . Same is only possible by squeezing FOB time lines . Local sourcing is the only option here , as it cut down on transit / clearance time line ( which is aprox 21 – 35 days ) as in case of imports. • With Fully equipped design studio and teams both at ITALY & DHAKA , we are already actively involved with brands like ZARA / M&S / C&A / H&M / JCP / AEO / A&F ( to name few ) on Co Creation activities were jointly , teams are working on seasonal trends , developing new product line / categories & getting them landed in for bulk production .

Accordingly Z&Z has set up new plant. • Reduced garment lead times pushing garment factories / brands to shift their focus more on home grown TEXTILE INDUSTRY vis-à-vis sourcing fabrics from CHINA / INDIA / PAKISTAN .
