Present Day Venetian Lagoon Planning the Integration of a Lagoon Park for the City of Venice Sponsored by Assessorato all’Ambiente e all’Urbanistica If a park is created, one benefit will be that these boats and the speeds they reach can be regulated to put a halt to causing any potential harm to the lagoon Due to being reckless in their adventures, their motorboats create large wakes in the lagoon, creating a disturbance They choose to explore the lagoon on their own before returning home, however. Since these wakes occur frequently, they are beginning to wreak havoc on the environment of the lagoon Spending all day out at sea, the boaters return to their homes in the mainland Wealthy mainlanders travel out to the Sea on their motorboats, powering through the lagoon on their way Eric Chandonnet Dan Richardi Christie Rudis Agnieszka Ziolek
