OUR MASCOTTE. WHY DID WE CHOOSE THE BEAR?. To represent our country at Comenius Project we chose THE BROWN BEAR as our mascotte. Because: Marsican Brown Bear is the symbol of Abruzzo ’ s National Park. And it ’ s a protected species that it ’ s only located in the south centre of Italy.
