  3. Nuclear power phase-out After Japan’s Fukushima nuclear disaster -> chancellor Angela Merkel’s coalition announced on May 2011 that Germany’s 17 nuclear power station will be shut down by 2022 -> nuclear exit laws -> green policy -> support of renewable energies -> carbon dioxide reduction

Photovoltaics plant at our school • Produced electricity supplies the public electricity network • profits go to the‘‘Förderverein‘’(booster club ) of our school • Symbol of our school as a role model • Increases the students’ environmental consciousness • Data can be used in physics or economics classes
