Homework: Complete side 1 (pg. 29) of "The School Play" notes sheet. Warm Up: Take out your summer reading project. Put your first and last name on all sheets.Set up your notebook page. In your Literature book, turn to pg. 34 and complete the "Face Your Fears" chart. Number 1-10 and rank each item, with 1 being the scariest and 10 being the least scary. When finished with your rankings, complete the warm up sheet on plot. Try to do this without using your notes.

Background to the story: The Donner Party Complete the plot review sheet that I gave you. Then read the Donner Party story on pg. 35 and fill in the plot chart at the bottom of the worksheet as it relates to this story.
We will now listen to "The School Play" pgs. 36-42. Follow along in your book and complete a new plot chart for this story as you listen. Be sure to use specific text details as you fill in your chart.
