Hi students, I am sorry to disappoint you but I am out today… don’t worry, your sub, Mrs. Roman, and Ms. Pachman will be able to help you through today’s lesson. • To start, you will be given a review packet. I want each of you to take the first 25 minutes of class to work on completing these packets. Start off working independently and after 15 minutes if you are really stuck, then ask a classmate. This is partly a test of how organized you are, how much attention you pay during class, and how prepared you to start reviewing. YOUR SMALL TEST WILL BE ON MONDAY!

  2. Now, I want each of you to take out a sheet of paper. You are to write a diary entry (or series if you prefer) as an explorer. Consider what explorers often wrote and how they sounded. Don’t just scribble something on a sheet – I am going to read these closely, so put some effort into them. If you finish early go back to reviewing for your test.If you don’t finish the review guide or the diary entry – that is your HW.
