  2. Creditsafe offer comprehensive Company Credit Reports for the UK and Ireland. In addition Creditsafe supply Company Reports for companies throughout Europe and the rest of the World. Creditsafe database holds information on 4.4 million UK companies and 450,000 Irish companies The data within Creditsafe UK company reports is sourced directly from Companies House, The Registry Trust and The London & Edinburgh Gazette and is updated daily • Creditsafe Company Reports include as standard: • Credit rating & Limit (contract value available December 2009) • 5 years accounts • Full Directors Information • Group structure • CCJ Information • Payment data (where available)

Key indicators Credit ScoreIn March 2009 Creditsafe launched a brand new Credit Score which, taking into account the current economic situation, calculates the probability of a company becoming insolvent in the next 12 months. A credit score of 30 is the threshold. A company with a score of 30 or less is ‘at risk’ Credit limit The recommended level of credit to be extended to a company Contract value (available December 2009) The suggested value of contract a company could be able to undertake – useful for ‘up front’ payments

  4. Key indicators Payment Information Payment information is data collected from 3rd party companies who have chosen to share their customer’s payment behaviour with Creditsafe. These companies will inform Creditsafe whether or not a particular company pays its invoices on time – each invoice is referred to as a payment experience. By looking at payment information we can see how many payment experiences a company has and whether or not they were paid on time. In effect we are obtaining a bulk trade reference from different suppliers. This is a recent addition to the Creditsafe portfolio and therefore, will need to develop over time
